# Members

A member is one affiliate enrolled in your app's [program](/affiliate-program), with their own tracked link and whichever commission rules apply to them.

## The list

Each row carries the affiliate, their **referral link** (copyable in one click), their status, **which rules apply** (program default, a [group](/affiliate-groups), or a custom override), and when they joined.

Above it: how many members are enrolled, how many are **pending approval** and waiting on your decision, and total commission earned across the program.

Search by name, email or referral code. The **joined** header sorts the roster by when members joined, in either direction; without it the newest members lead.

## Enrolling someone

Enroll an affiliate by email. If the program has no tracked link base URL yet, Meridian says so instead of handing out a link that would attribute nothing. See [Program](/affiliate-program).

An affiliate is identified by email address across your organization, so enrolling someone who already works with another of your apps links them to the same [profile](/affiliate-profiles).

## A member's detail page

Opening a member shows:

* **Which rules apply**, and the option to give this member a **custom override**, the most specific level of resolution.
* **Their referrals**: the stores attributed to them.
* **Their commissions**: what each referral has earned, and its status.

## Statuses

A membership can be pending your approval, active, or ended. Pending members hold a link that doesn't earn until you approve them, so approval is the gate, not the link.
