# Feature create

Ask the AI Assistant to create a feature and it drafts one in your [Plan Builder](/introduction-13) from your description.

## What it does

Describe the capability you want to gate and the assistant drafts a feature with a name, a key, and a type: **boolean** (on/off) or **number** (a limit). As with every [action](/introduction-8), it asks you to **confirm** before creating.

The feature is created for you to review; wire it into your plans and set per-plan values in the [Plan Builder](/introduction-13). Your app then checks it at runtime through the [SDK](/features).
