The activity log is the affiliate program’s own history: who joined, which stores were referred, what was approved, and when money moved.
What it records
The lifecycle events across the program: memberships created and approved, referrals attributed, commissions minted and cancelled, payouts generated and marked paid.
Because commissions are minted by a nightly sweep rather than by someone clicking, this log is where an affiliate’s “why did I earn this” question gets answered chronologically, next to the commissions ledger that answers it per amount.
What to use it for
- Verifying an attribution: a referral that produced no commission usually means the minimum plan value gate or the duration window, and the sequence here shows which.
- Reconstructing a payout: what was included, when it was generated, when it was marked paid.
- Explaining a change: a member moved between groups, so their rate changed from that point on.
