Linking your app to its public Shopify App Store listing is what lets Meridian bring App Store data into the rest of the product: reviews onto your CRM stores, and keyword positions for your listing.
Linking is available for public apps: a custom app has no public listing to link.
Finding your listing
Open your app’s Settings → Integrations and pick the Shopify App Store card. Meridian suggests listings two ways:
- If your Shopify Partner account is connected, suggestions are matched against your Partner app name, usually the closest thing to the listing name.
- Otherwise they’re matched against your Meridian app name.
Matching is on title alone, so a suggestion can be the wrong app; exact title matches come first. When your listing is named differently from your app, or published under another developer account, search the directory instead: every published listing on the App Store, searchable by app name or by developer.
Unlisted apps and apps still in review don’t appear in the directory.
Confirming the link
Nothing is linked until you confirm. The confirmation names the listing and what changes: Meridian starts reading that listing’s public data and matching its reviews to the stores in your CRM.
Once linked, the card shows the listing URL, its category, how long it’s been on the App Store, how many reviews have synced, and when the data was last updated. Picking another listing replaces the link. You can change or remove it at any time.
What linking unlocks
- Reviews on store profiles. A review left by a store that’s in your CRM shows on that store’s profile, next to its plan and revenue. Reviews carry the reviewer’s store name and how long they’d used the app, but no store identifier, so matches are indicative, not certain, and only stores that reviewed your app appear.
- Keyword rank tracking. Track up to five search terms and see where your listing lands in App Store search each day.
- The listing in Market Intel, alongside every other app in your category.
Removing the link
Removing it leaves your App Store listing untouched. Meridian just stops using its data, and reviews disappear from your store CRM pages until you link a listing again. You can re-link the same listing later. Last modified on September 18, 2026
