Create your account
The public beta is open to everyone. Choose Create an account on the sign-in page and enter your name, email address and password. You do not need an access request, approval or invitation.
For email and password signup, open the verification link sent to your inbox and press Confirm my email on the page it opens, then sign in. Opening the link on its own verifies nothing: company mail filters open links in incoming mail to scan them, and only a person pressing the button should prove the address is theirs. Then follow onboarding to create your organization and first app. You can also use social sign-in.
If the address belonged to an account that was closed, signing up with it is refused. Use another address, or ask the Meridian team to reopen the account. An organization invitation sent to that address is the exception: it proves the address, so accepting it reopens the account.
Onboarding shows the email you are signed in with at the top. If it is the wrong account, choose Log out next to it to sign out and sign in with another one.
If you already have an account, sign in with it. An organization invitation lets you join that organization with the invited email address instead of creating a new organization.
Your setup guide
The setup guide is personal: your choices, skipped steps and completion follow you across apps and organizations. Finish or leave it once and opening another app will not restart it. You can reopen it from Setup guide on an app’s home page.
The guide checks the current app before suggesting work. Configured SDK credentials, a connected Shopify app, existing plans, verified sending domains, automations, deployments and linked listings are omitted when already set up. CLI and MCP steps use your own connection status. Tasks outside your permissions or unavailable for the app are omitted too.
The guide is for people who can set the app up, which needs Applications: Edit. Without it, opening an app goes straight to its home page, with no setup checklist and no Setup guide button, and a link to the guide opens the app’s home page instead.Last modified on October 8, 2026
