Meridian doesn’t have a separate “restart” button. Because your app runs on Cloud Run and Meridian deploys by image digest, the equivalents of a restart are a redeploy or a rollback:
  • Redeploy: trigger a new deployment of the current commit to roll out a fresh set of instances.
  • Rollback: shift traffic back to a previously succeeded release, using its existing revision with no rebuild.
For a transient issue, a redeploy replaces the running revision; for a bad release, a rollback restores the last good one. Autoscaling handles instance churn under normal load. See Autoscaling.
