A plan limit is a hard ceiling: at the limit, the action that would exceed it is refused, and raising it means moving to Pro or Enterprise. An app that outgrows its included hosting moves to a hosting upgrade (Medium or Large) without changing its plan.
What happens at a limit
Monthly allowances reset at the start of each calendar month. Object counts (segments, reports, discounts, custom fields, tracked keywords, affiliate programs and members) are a standing number, so deleting one frees its slot immediately.
Owners get an email, and everyone in the organization an in-app notification, when one of an app’s monthly allowances passes 80%, 95% and 100%. Each of those is sent once per app, per allowance, per month. Notifications only exist where the plan sets a number, so a Pro or Enterprise app hears nothing about the allowances its plan leaves unmetered.
