Bandwidth is the network traffic your hosted app serves. Meridian meters outbound (egress) and inbound (ingress) traffic per environment so you can see what your app is moving and stay ahead of your plan limits.
What’s measured
- Outbound bandwidth: data your app sends in responses. This is the metered dimension for billing. It includes what Meridian’s edge serves for the app without reaching it: responses the CDN serves from its cache, and your public storage files, and what your database sends to your own backends through external access.
- Inbound bandwidth: data your app receives.
Usage is sampled per environment and shown alongside CPU and memory in hosting Analytics.
Limits
A monthly outbound-bandwidth allowance comes with your plan (25 GB on Lite, 100 GB on Pro) and can be raised with a hosting upgrade without changing the app’s plan (150 GB with Medium, 500 GB with Large, which replace the plan’s figure).
Owners are emailed at 90%, 95% and 100% of the month’s allowance. At 100% nothing is cut off: the app keeps serving, but on one instance with the smallest CPU and memory, until the allowance resets at the start of the next month or a hosting upgrade raises it. Last modified on October 6, 2026
